We have decided to push the Math Assessments back a few weeks to give the students more time to learn key concepts. With missing 6 days of school due to weather, we felt this would be the best move for everyone.
Also this Friday there will be no school for students due to conferences.

South States Test Wednesday!!
One State Assessment down and one reason to celebrate. The class did an amazing job of coming to school energized and focused for the Reading Assessment. On Thursday afternoon we finished the day with an extra recess to celebrate this hard work. Now it is time to focus in on the Math State Assessment, which will be in April. I want every student to work extremely hard on mastering their multiplication and division facts. On this test a multiplication chart may not be used, so it is imperative that everyone knows their basic facts. Enough test talk for now though, on to this week.
The students will only have school Monday-Thursday this week as Spring Break begins Friday. Class routines will be normal for these 4 days. The students will have the South Region states test on Wednesday and remember spelling does count.
Spelling- No Pretest, only Final
Reading- New Unit (Survival)
Math- Continue with Topic 12 (Fractions as Decimals)
Language Arts- Spring Break Poem
Social Studies- South and SOUTH STATES TEST WEDNESDAY
Science- Begin New Chapter
